Any remember the Hunter with the golden armband thing in gears of war 2? He was a MP character unlocked @ once you earned your Star back in the day. Pretty sure it was just rank 100 but yeah, I miss that characters design. Just a grenadier with a golden armband.

Interesting stuff in the locust soldier hierarchy, so according to this new lore dump: Palace guard is the highest rank for therons Ravenger for grenadiers So who’s the highest rank for standard locust drones and boomers ?

For drones there’s rankings like Krav and such but drones tend to be generals too like Raam and co. For boomers, what I do know is that the Mauler Elites are higher ranking Boomer variants and the Tremors seem to be a higher ranking too but we don’t know who’s the highest rank of boomer

Hunters are technically not grenadiers. Sure when the hunters were disbanded they would be given a shotgun and become a grenadier but they were actually a different breed. Proof is when the description of a savage Hunter says “The Hunter’s are -bred- for one purpose they do not relent even when they are in the dead lands”. Sure not word for word but they are a different breed but not by a lot. But they are affiliated with the grenadier sub classes and or ranks.
