Roger Hodgson

Күн бұрын

Roger Hodgson co-founded Supertramp in 1969 and was the driving force behind what fans call the 14 golden years of the band. Roger wrote, composed, sang, and arranged the enduring rock standards that made Supertramp a worldwide phenomenon with album sales in excess of 60 million. In addition to The Logical Song, Roger also gave us the timeless classics such as Give a Little Bit, Dreamer, Breakfast in America, Take the Long Way Home, It's Raining Again, Fool's Overture, School, and many more.
Roger is currently on tour. Every concert is a powerful emotional journey and his passion for his music and his art shines through in the magic and intimacy that is felt by the audience, as with this July 2015 show in Veszprém, Hungary. For tour details, visit www.RogerHodgso... or / rogerhodgson .

When I was young It seemed that life was so wonderful A miracle Oh, it was beautiful, magical And all the birds in the trees Well they'd be singing so happily Oh, joyfully Oh, playfully, watching me But then they sent me away To teach me how to be sensible Logical Oh responsible, practical And they showed me a world Where I could be so dependable Oh, clinical Oh, intellectual, cynical There are times when all the world's asleep The questions run too deep For such a simple man Won't you, please, please, tell me what we've learned? I know it sounds absurd Please tell me who I am Now watch what you say Or they'll be calling you a radical A liberal Oh fanatical, criminal Oh, won't you sign up your name? We'd like to feel you're acceptable Respectable Oh presentable, a vegetable But at night, when all the world's asleep The questions run so deep For such a simple man Won't you please (won't you tell me?) Please tell me what we've learned? (can you hear me?) When I was young, It seemed that life was so wonderful, A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical. And all the birds in the trees, Well they'd be singing so happily, Oh joyfully, oh playfully watching me. But then they sent me away To teach me how to be sensible, Logical, oh responsible, practical. And then they showed me a world Where I could be so dependable, Oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical. There are times When all the world's asleep, The questions run too deep For such a simple man. Won't you please, Please tell me what we've learned I know it sounds absurd Please tell me who I am. I said now what would you say Now we're calling you a radical, A liberal, oh fanatical, criminal. Oh won't you sign up your name, We'd like to feel you're acceptable, Respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable! Take, take, take it But at night, when all the world's asleep, The questions run so deep For such a simple man. Won't you please, Won't you tell me Please tell me what we've learned Can you hear me I know it sounds absurd Why won't you help me But please tell me who I am. Who I am, who I am, who I am, 'Cause I was feeling so logical Digital One two three four Liberal

A privilege to enjoy your live shows today nowadays. Yes Logic can change a lot, specially if you don't just posses it, but also know how to apply it: "The Trivium is the lower division of the seven liberal arts and comprises grammar, logic, and rhetoric (input, process, and output)"
