For whatever reasons that may stem from. To be able to let go and completely rebuild, is a gift. For me it comes naturally because I don’t have a imagination, I can’t really imagine a apple in my head even though I know what it looks like I just can’t “see it”. Only time I can really imagine things is in my dreams. So this makes it pretty easy for me to forget and forgive. I’ll say, it’s definitely a positive. Holding onto things helps nothing, I know this because I’ve held onto things far longer then I should of. You find yourself wishing you could go back in time. Professional help always works my g. Other contacts like friends or family might help to comfort you. And if you feel uncomfortable to call them, it's ok. They are there to support you. And if you don't have friends, the only thing I can say is make some. Make some that are able to comfort you during your worst. It's hard to find them sometimes but when you do, it's like finding a diamond in the rough. I can't say that everything will be good from there but I think it'll definitely help a bit. But just know that friends also need space as well. So don't just use them for emotional support. Besides, family is always there to help. (I don't want to get a bit too personal to this. You might not have a supporting family but that's ok. Because sometimes, friends are the ones that can lift you up the most). I hope this advice helps you friend. Even if it comes from an amateur. Being alone is not easy, not everyone enjoys their own company. Until you get over it. As a guy who has been home alone for quite a few years due to my parents having to go to work very early and returning late, it was not easy. At first i was scared, deeply, i couldn't leave my room to eat, i feared the dark. Until I woke up and realized that fear is not real and being alone is just a new experience. Us humans have this specific fear of the unknown, what we can't control and can't see, we fear it. So until you can build up courage to walk in the dark alone, you will just be a scared little boy. But here's the thing, there is always gonna be one person who cares about you. You might not have grown up with it but trust me, someone will. And don't worry about your life being in a loop, just try something new. Maybe go for a run or write a story or anything at all. And if that don't work, take a step back and try to change it. Just stay away from substances like alcohol or drugs. It can cause some really unhealthy addictions. Of course moderation is key, but it's hard to stop when a good thing happens, you just want more.
