the fact that there isnt already an, abominable snowman mode in the game already for survival is a shame. Take parts of this mode, add in a model for a yeti that hunts the player, can move through zones, and can only be killed by massive amounts of damage.

@Greedo He said that the game mode would be permanently available, meaning that it's optional for people who want to play it throughout the year. You'll still be able to play the regular game, though, so I don't think it's going to be a big deal.

The Long Dark can be a bit creepy at times. I’m glad the devs are embracing that vibe and going full survival horror this year! This could work very well and have potential for future events (or even games?) like it.
