UPDATE! Results from this protocol published October 2023. Read the peer reviewed manuscript: stemcellres.bi...
As the world continues grappling with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, a bigger picture is beginning to develop as to just how long lasting its effects may be. An estimated 1 in 13 U.S. adults are currently experiencing symptoms of Long COVID Syndrome. That's over 20,000,000 people in the U.S. alone. Doctors and scientists are struggling to find a real solution to this debilitating condition and treatment options are limited.
Always dedicated to finding solutions for people with unmet clinical needs, the Hope Biosciences Research Foundation launched a small 10 patient clinical trial to study stem cell therapy as a potential treatment for those suffering from long Covid.
In this special documentary presentation, we hear the personal accounts of five COVID-19 long haulers as they recount their experience living with long COVID and the clinical trial that gave them their life back.
In September of 2021, the Hope Biosciences Research Foundation received FDA approval for an 80 patient, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to study the use of allogeneic HB-adMSCs for the treatment of patients with Long COVID Syndrome. The trial is currently enrolling participants.

There is still a question about distinguishing the symptoms of 'Long Covid' from the side-effects (listed by the vaccine makers themselves) of the vaccines. How many of those diagnosed as having 'Long Covid' are really suffering from the side-effects of the vaccines . . . ?
@Elysian777
@Elysian777 5 ай бұрын
I belong to a large community of long haulers. The ones with the worst, longest lasting symptoms got it early - before vaccines existed. The symptoms are all the symptoms of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also something people have become ill with after viral infections. A similar thing happened after the 1918 Spanish Flu.

When you hear the witnesses you feel like this might be the most effective treatment but I never heard about it even though I'm handicaped since a year and i'm looking all around for solutions...A great thanks for this documentary!

This is absolutely amazing to see! I couldn’t help but shed a tear while watching this! Ever since I was infected with covid my life has never been the same! I lost my job and my state of health is dwindling. I’m only 31 years old and had my whole life ahead of me. I’m really hoping this is rolled out nationwide to help all those suffering from such a cruel state of being due to post viral condition. I’m so tired of feeling hopeless. Of all the doctor’s appointments with no answers, all the while my tests come back normal but I’m far from normal. To trying everything under the sun to heal but nothing seems to work. This provides hope for us people struggling and suffering. Thank you😢❤

Possibly consider the following: The spike protein of the virus is using the TLR4 protein on T Cells to Trigger an inflammatory immune response. This is to cause deregulated release of Cortisol that lowers inflammation. Cortisol by causing ROS can increase TLR4 proteins and disrupt cells causing oxidative stress. Oxidative stress can cause cells to increase extracellular ATP. This can increase IL-18 cytokines. Cortisol can also suppress lymphocyte gamma interferons and IL-8 cytokines and effectively suppresses the primary immune response allowing the virus to spread. Cortisol also primes the secondary immune response and you get increased cytokine inflammation. To promote CD4+ helper T Cells elevated Extracellular ATP (the energy molecule) that increases Il-18 cytokines that in turn promote CD4+ helper T-Cells and increase lymphocyte gamma interferons. IL-18 cytokines are also linked to deep vain thrombosis so ATP has to help break down these blood clots causing fatigue.IL-18 cytokines can also cause release of histamine from Mast Cells that helps fight infection but can also cause inflammation. Cortisol at elevated levels also disrupts gastric secretions, lowers circulating testosterone needed to regulate systematic inflammation, causes ROS (ROS or loss of nutrients in cells can cause increases in extracellular ATP) , causes insulin resistance and increase blood glucose leading to diabetes. Cortisol is also correlated with homocysteine. At elevated levels homocysteine is linked to stimulation of platelet activation (in vitro), COPD, Alzheimer’s, brain shrinkage and hardening of blood vessels and blood clots. With the original SARS the virus was found to be infecting the ACE2 receptors of cells in the endothelial wall. In response homocysteine increased the adhesive molecules on the surface of immune cells binding them to the infection causing inflammation.Blockage along the lining of blood vessels can cause cortisol to inhibit IL-10 signalling which regulates inflammation. By disrupting gastric secretions this means the ph levels are not low enough to promote secretions of the digestive enzyme Pepsin. Pepsin not only helps absorption of vitamins and minerals but also helps fight bacteria and viruses and in vitro break down upper respiratory blood clots. Cortisol can also increase TNF-Alpha cytokines by causing muscle cells to stop using glucose and start degranulating proteins. Excessive cortisol production can lead to adrenal fatigue which can cause chronic inflammation, fatigue, digestive issues and autoimmune disease. (Pernicious Anaemia is one such autoimmune disease identified. A blood test checking for B12 deficiency can identify this but allow for antibody interference as this can give false normal or even elevated levels of B12. Intrinsic factor antibodies can be considered) Disruption to gastric secretions can lead to a condition called Hypochlorhydria or low stomach acid. This means that food cannot be sterilised or digested properly and lead to a build up of bad bacteria and toxins. This can lead to bloating, diarrhoea, vomiting and acid reflux symptoms often misdiagnosed as high stomach acid. The acid reflux can be caused by build up of bad bacteria and toxins pushing out into the base of the oesophagus carrying particles of stomach acid causing inflammation at the base of the oesophagus. Inflammation at the base of the oesophagus can cause the top of the oesophagus to contract causing the sensation of a lump in the throat. Possibly consider the following (Always under medical supervision). 1. Taking a combination of 4,000 IU of Vitamin D3, C, B12, B5,B6 and magnesium and zinc. (This combination treats adrenal fatigue but also vitamin D blocks the release of Cortisol and lowers the expression of TLR4 proteins) 2. Drink twice daily 250 ml of water with 1/4 teaspoon of salt. This will help to increase electrolytes to treat adrenal fatigue and the virus may be hijacking the protease the body uses to regulate salt and water absorption. 3. Taking a gradual increasing dosage of Betaine HCL (500mg) with Pepsin (24mg) Betaine HCL inhibits TLR4 proteins, lowers key cytokines IL-18, IL1-b and TNF-a. It also increases IL-8 cytokines that promote neutrophils than coordinate T Cell immune response. (In a form of TB IL-8 cytokines were found to bind to the infection and stimulate a CD4+ and CD8 T Cell response) It reverses insulin resistance and lowers cellular atp. Betaine also lowers cortisol and homocysteine and increases testosterone needed to regulate systematic inflammation. Betaine HCL with pepsin is ineffective at low dosage but must only be considered under medical supervision as it can affect cellular atp needed to provide energy to cells and the body and also increases IL-8 cytokines that can cause inflammation in blood vessels. It cannot be take with aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, steroids or Pepcid Famotidine as it can cause bleeding and ulceration to the stomach. It also cannot be taken during pregnancy. The dosage is 1 pill with each meal 3 times per day gradually increasing to 2 pills depending on tolerance. If the higher dosage causes nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea then lower the dosage. Any medication should only be considered under medical supervision. I hope this information helps

In October, 2019, I contracted a virusI that lasted for weeks and I finally ended up in the emergency room because I had difficulty breathing and a stabbing like pain in my back and lungs. After putting me through tests all day, they could not understand why I wasn't able to breathe normally. Shortly thereafter, I suffered from an infestation of demodex mites , which was a nightmare. In April, 2020, I was tested for covid antibodies and was told that I had loads. I was given the vaccine and a few weeks later, began to experience tremors in addition to a fast heart beat and ended up in the hospital again because I couldn't walk. Since then, four doctors have confirmed that my issues were neurological and that I had long haul covid. I still can't walk normally and still experience tremors daily. My life has changed. I hope this will be available to everyone very soon.

WHERE can I find one if these? My grown son is dying and I’m his caregiver and disabled, plus I have a broken shoulder. I’m being treated for Lyme and I am sick from the constipation and antibiotics. If you know if anyone who can diagnose this, I’d appreciate it! It’s been over a year! Every day plus screaming! I can’t take it. He’s been living with me for over two years.

Since covid I seem to get weird chills and tingling after I eat and weird icy hot feeling on my shoulder often and face flushing . not sure what that is just had an mri found I had lesions on my brain haven’t talked to dr yet to see if covid related and causing the weird sensation. Though many drs hate the word covid so idk if I’ll get confirmation. Also since covid been waking up with my heart at nearly 200 bpm. Do that several nights and you’ll puke . Lucky for me I find I can control with diet. I went carnivore it went away, I added berries still fine , I added salad I ended up puking for days with racing heart doesn’t help it took me days to figure out was salad . I still need to test other foods is a slow process. I’m also questioning if this was caused by covid because I’ve had insomnia for ever wondering if I didn’t have mild tachycardia and covid made it impossible to ignore

Because at TWiV 659 at min29 virologist Christian Drosten suggest that SARS COV2 better replicate at very low tissue temperature. And if(?) SARS COV2 replication are temperature related may be must change paradigma May be ,,mask wearing,, increase upper respiratory temperature? May be interferon induced fever must not be decreased if SARS COV2 infection occur

Seems very interesting but I would like to have seen some information about the actual science. What was their hypothesis about why stem cells would work? What do they believe is actually going wrong for people with so many diverse symptoms that stem cells can correct. Are these recoveries sustainable? Everyone with this illness wants to know what exactly has gone wrong with their bodies. After watching this I feel there are a lot of unanswered questions. It did not provide any understanding of why or how stem cells would help treat all these symptoms. I also wonder if this does actually pan out with a proper trial including controls, is this the kind of treatment that would only be available to wealthy people??

Thank you for the feedback. It's always difficult to stay in the middle - not too fluffy and not too technical. We will share the link to paper when it is publicly available. It will have the scientific rationale behind the study. We are in the middle of a larger placebo-controlled study and we will see whether the results are similar to those of this EA protocol. The objective of these trials is to get approval for these treatments so that insurance can reimburse the costs. Our hope is to have the treatment available and affordable for all.

What an amazing documentary this is. The human spirit wins always. Evil never prevails. Human resilience wins always. ❤️ COVID is one of those things that we will never forget just like Pearl Harbor, the Civil War, 9/11, World War II, World War I, the great depression,, The Spanish flu, etc., and we lived through it in our lifetime really not that long ago relatively speaking. I mean it was only three years ago that’s not long ago at all. Sure it may feel like a long time ago, but it really wasn’t. Who remembers 2020? Where were you when the world stopped turning in March 2020? How could we ever forget social distancing? Do you remember staying 7 feet apart? Do you all things being canceled? Don’t you remember school online? Don’t you remember the political problems we had including the racial injustice Black Lives Matter that happened during Covid after George Floyd was killed by Derek Chauvin? Don’t you remember Dr. Fauci, and Terdros, and Dr. Jha getting on TV everyday? It was a historic event. Millions of Americans died. To put that in perspective, that is about 10 NRG Stadiums in Houston dead. That is enough to fill up NRG Stadium 10 times. (I’m sure most of you may remember all the flags in Washington , DC representing each death out on the lawn near the monument, let alone all of the rings that the national cathedral rang, representing each death). Lots of people died as a result of COVID-19 including Meat Loaf, one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll singers of the century meatloaf was right in there with I’m not exaggerating, the Beatles. His legacy still lives meatloaf is still very much alive. His music is not dead. People forget how traumatic the pandemic we lived through was. We were all traumatized from the pandemic. It was a sad deal. I don’t want to talk about it we all had to wear masks. It was politicized. It was an unusual time to be a human. It was a wild time. Lockdowns were extremely harsh, but necessary to keep humanity safe. It’s been over. It was sort-of a long time ago by now. Who remembers? We all were scared. We were all in it together. Forget the political piece of it, the human spirit, hard work, new technologies, medicine, antivirals, authorized treatments, therapeutics, vaccines, and science all played a part in defeating COVID.

I reccomend prolonged fasting. DYOR on the topic and make sure your in the right health to do it safely. I have seen a great improvement in my LC after a 3 day water fast paired with supplementing RESVERATROL & QUEURCITIN. This triggers autophagy and clears the blood of spike proteins!!

I would like to see someone like my son get this treatment. He was in ICU for 3 months, on a ventilator for 9 weeks and in rehab for 1 month with many months of home rehab after that. He came home not even being able to sit up in bed. Wore diapers, we had to use a lift to get him from bed to wheelchair. He is left with lung damage but is working full-time and just keeps pushing himself to get better. I consider him a miracle. He does still use oxygen occasionally at night but not during the day. His doctor has prescribed inhalers as needed but NO other treatment or suggestions. He suffers mostly from a cough that just will not go away. And gets out of breath easily. He also got heterotypic ossification in one hip from not being moved enough, his treatment was not the best since they wanted us to okay turning off the machine keeping him alive...unbelievable!!! They did not give us much hope and him not much care. I don't know if the stem cells would help someone like him but since I am sure he is not the only person out there suffering the effects of Covid to the extent that he is, it would be an amazing thing if something could help these people.

Possibly consider talking to your doctor about medications that inhibit the expression of TLR4 proteins and blocks/regulates the stress hormone Cortisol. Please see the following as a possible reason why: A paper titled “Coronavirus spike protein activated natural immune response, damaged heart muscle cells” found that the spike protein of the Covid virus is triggering an inflammatory innate T Cell immune response via TLR4 proteins. This could be part of the viruses mechanism of disease as if this is systemic inflammation then this could lead to a surge in cortisol. Cortisol can disrupt pathogen presentation pathways in dendritic cells, disrupt the interferon gamma/il-10 ratio lowering interferon gamma and increasing IL-10 cytokines and can cause transient suppression of il-8 cytokines (found in a form of TB to bind to the infection and stimulate CD4 and CD8 T cell immune response. Effectively the virus maybe be pitting one part of the immune system against the other. Dexamethasone, one of the few recognised treatments, inhibits the expression of TLR4 proteins in activated T Cells while also lowering the release of ACTH from the pituitary gland which in turn lowers the release of Cortisol from the adrenal glands. Some doctors are treating long Covid with naltrexone. Again naltrexone inhibits the expression of TLR4 proteins and regulates cortisol. Recently some long Covid sufferers have found benefit from taking Lumbrokinase. Again this inhibits the expression of TLR4 proteins. There is a paper titled “Betaine inhibits Toll-like receptor 4 expression in rats with ethanol-induced liver injury” demonstrating how Betaine TMG can inhibit the expression of TLR4 proteins while also lowering TNF-a and IL-18 cytokines found to be elevated in sever Covid patients. It can also reverse insulin resistance and restore downstream signalling, lower cortisol and homocysteine (homocysteine is linked to hardening of blood vessels and blood clots, platelet activation, brain shrinkage, increased risk of Alzheimer’s and COPD) and can increase circulating testosterone helping regulate systematic inflammation. Cortisol can also impair dendritic cells maturation along with function. Omega 3 and magnesium can help lower cortisol. I hope this informations helps but please only consider under medical supervision.

Long covid is a euphemism for intra nasal inflammation caused by breathing in particles from excessive mask wearing. The onset of the virus is the trigger for active inflammation. You have to decrease the intra nasal inflammation. Perhaps abrasive bloodletting therapy might work, I do not know.
