Taylor is just bland, and that's the reflection of modern culture and art/beauty standards, the bar is so low that a generic blonde with generic songs is the top superstar now

The reason she is distinguished is she is a "one man crew". People don't even know that Taylor is a competent drummer, but she is. If another artist invited her at the kit in a session and bang out beats, she could do it, and it would be a hoot. She could easily work with a classically trained arranger and make intricate musical compositions, and FLEX, but that's not her voice. People don't know that it's harder to write 4 chord tunes with a 3 piece combo than lavish orchestrations.

Fact is, she was working full time in the entertainment industry since she was a tween.. When she was 12 she would sing the National Anthem for a dog fight to build her resume.
