I'm obsessed to find the "chronospacehistory" origin of our Total Universal Mass, like a lot of people who are graduate to try to answer that. For Me, these kind of lectures are My school and I have the chance to listen to the best scientists of the World so I think that people like me can find some clue to some questions in physics even if I never Been to school ! ( I love to learn complex things I don't know Why !.........??)

Excellent talk!! P.S. By the way I tend to agree with the journal... "beyond any reasonable doubt" doesn't "sound" scientific. And I mean there is no question about "reasonable" or "unreasonable" doubt when it comes to experimental data. Just a detail in phrasing, not very important.

we see ther for first time an elastic colision between two "tear of Geea" , last subatomic frontier is strong encapsulated, and inside can be Hawking singularity.? Mass is an physics complex proces and cleary is reflecting inside te infinity. but Asymetry is what give to all esence dynamc and then time. Symmetry mean a frozen exsence.

What's the color of a Higgs boson? Is it blue? And what is the Higgs boson made of? What structure has it? Or is it just an energy pattern?

+eXtremeDR The Higgs isn't really made of anything, it's simply the result of an excitation of the Higgs field, when the Higgs field recieves an energetic interaction it causes an effect not unlike a vibration, that local area that was excited is measured and the measured effects is described as the Higgs Boson. In quantum physics, it is easier to think of such things as fields, rather than particles. There is no colour associated with it. Images and visual depictions represent such things as small spheres and colour them differently just to make it easier to represent them, but it is not their literal appearance.

The Higgs Boson is a very subtle taint of blueish green that will be trendy in 2017. It is mainly made of cheese (but not of the same kind as the moon, be aware!). It has the structure of a girafe mixed with that of a corn flake, in the 5th dimension of course. It is an energy pattern : the pattern is a king of Tartan generally compared to the Mc Donald clan's Tartan, even if the Mc Leod's denies is true.

like any particles and matter : it isn't really made of anything, just a kind of energy. E=mc². Remember?

what is the situation between standing man close to lhc tube and traveling proton at%99.999999999999 light speed.for massless particle like photon ok but protons have a mass.time should be close to slover than earth. and next one for gravity boson?

So, despite the idea of Higgs having been proposed by a number of people, why does Peter Higgs keep getting the credit ?

Or to the salvation of men. It won't be science anymore, but technology and politics. The first application of radioactivity was medical (during WWI Marie Curie and Iréne, her daughter, mobilised on the front to bring newly discovred radiology). Nowadays, these discoveries lead to : very accurate clocks, GPS, MRI, radiotherapy for cancers, safe houses in naturally radioactive soils which emit radon, cheap energy for space probes, cheap electricity from nuclear powerplants, etc. And also, sadly, the A and H bombs, the nuclear catastrophes (Three Mile Island, Tchernobyl, Fukushima) and wars around uranium natural reserves (in some parts of Africa for example).
