The Long Tomorrow by Leigh Brackett; book reviews

An excellent #postapocalyptic #classicsciencefiction novel from 1955 that is actually very visionary in several ways. The writing is lovely and I thoroughly recommend it. There are a few spoilers at the end (if you can even spoiler a story that is seventy years old), but I warn before I spoiler.

At 12:25 you said 1925 when I think you meant to say 2025. That’s my fault, sorry about that! Due to my Temporal Distortion Disorder, people that I interact with a lot may experience jumps or lapses in time as a result of their association with me and the nonlinear way time moves from my perspective. Otherwise another fine review & sounds like an interesting book!

Mennonites are similar but more liberal with tech and society than the Amish. Glad you liked the book, it just fell short of my tbr this year.
