Trust me, I’m currently reading the Manga and came to the part with the timeskip. Also there where more timeskips in to your eternity. There where for example the 40 years timeskip, like you said. Then there’s another Timeskip of about 200 years that Introduces the Renryl Arc and after this arc there’s again a timeskip of about 500 years.

In jjba people didn't think about this after the time acceleration on stone ocean they went to a galaxy like thing which was a new universe and then they were at the same year but that already happened over 18 times or more i don't remember what pucci said about the universe restarting and how mnay times it had already happened since the time acceleration can go to infinite the amount of times the universe restarted is insane meaning that it created a time skip of around 100+ trillions of years but im not really sure thought also SBR was achieved because the universe was getting resetted but since pucci died the effect of the universe restarting was nullified because a stando effect is nullified after the user dies so when the universe restarted instead a new universe was created which had everyone but they were not the same person
