A group of artists and Corrections staff got together in 2016 and explored ways to provide arts and creativity in prisons. Over five days, the artists worked with 16 women in the Drug Treatment Unit at Arohata Prison in Wellington, New Zealand. Together, they created a performance that was by and for the prison community. Arts Access Aotearoa facilitated the workshop.
