I sang this song at my grandmothers funeral and I broke down into tears afterwards. This song is so beautiful but now I can’t listen to it without sobbing

Maddie, I heard this entire Requiem this evening at an area church. It brings tears to my eyes too. May your heart continue to find comfort in these words and in loving memories of your grandmother.

The crescendo at 4:20 with the declaration that "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" brings this worship director on my knees every time I hear this.

Beautiful. I was transported to the Heavenly Courts! The choir was magnificent. Just right. They sang it as Rutter's 'Cambridge Singers! The Oboist was very plaintive and helped to carry the pathos of the music. I remember playing this song for my Year 1 class while they did quiet reading. It still echoes many years ago.

I sang the soprano part of this song in my high school choir right the sudden and tragic death of my cousin. Now i listen to this song again right after my uncle died nearly 2 weeks ago. This song is beautiful and comforting.
