This was a programme shown at the time of the Lord Mackay of Clashfern case in 1989 and has an interesting set of interviews with a range of people from the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland.

There was a booklet written at the time which explained not only the theological reasons for the case, but also indicated the lengthy FP witness against anyone attending a mass. Surely it would be a case of double standards to air brush the fact when it involved one of their own...

Lord MacKay was himself in the dock? Why be worried about causing a split in the Free Presbyterian church? It was a fine Christian thing for him to attend the Catholic mass for his colleague.
