Idk.. I personally love Tom. A mysterious character, one of the first ever created by Tolkien, and might be the only one that existed outside of LoTR. (If I am remembering correctly) Making Tom's words about being the eldest have a profound ring to them. His very nature is still pondered even today, and I believe he is the very incarnation of Chaos since Tolkien pulled alot from Norse Mythology. Tom is just built different and very lovable.

OMG I am so hyped for this series! Fun fact, the small folk in Gondor are mentioned once in the Return of the King book. They aid Rohan in bypassing a large Orc blockade that Sauran sent to prevent Rohan from reaching Minas Tirith in time. Their only condition was that Rohan keep their existence hidden.

This mod is genuinely amazing from a writing perspective. When I played Maglor after the latest update and read all the event messages, I felt like I was reading excerpts from some unfinished scripts from Tolkien himself. Favourite character would be difficult to choose, from a valour pov definetely Fingolfin, from a character idea I'd have to choose the Vala Nienna, but the best all rounders have to be Faramir and Sam.

Should do a Maglor campaign. Last son of Feanor and adopted father of Elrond. His campaign is dead cool decisions, can become High King of all. The Noldor and fight then fight Sauron, eventually potentially get the last silmaril, back. From the sea Maglor threw away

Aragorn is riddled with self-doubt after Gandalf falls in Moria. He's indecisive the whole way to Rauros, and then is convinced he's made all the wrong decisions up until they see Gandalf again.

So I assume, if you choose to go alone, the death is guaranteed? Or does the game offer you any other out. That's what Im curious about, the branch of the event that we've not seen

Damn, this mod has come a fair way since I last checked it out. I like the use of the Struggle mechanics to represent the Balrog (since the beast is basically a walking disaster), and the colonisation system is pretty cool too! Also, who'd have thought that befriending the Elves would lead to so much wholesomeness? 😂

One of my favourite characters is Fatty Bolger! One of Frodo's best friends, he stayed behind when Frodo escaped the Shire, and even put on Frodos clothes and pretended to be him when the black riders were after him, which nearly cost him his life. He also starts a resistance fight when Saruman takes over the Shire and is thrown in jail

Hrmph... I dont think I should tell you my favorite character, that seems quite hasty...Hrmph! ;) Also this takes me back to a great d&d game - we played a bunch of dwarfs and went to retake moria. In the Lore, Elendil took the Isengard for hiimself. and created there a human outpost, that is when they erected the tower. GOndor always had a garrison and wardens there. It all fell into decay when the King´s dynasty died. at that point, wardens became local chieftains by heritage. And Saruman received it from the warden of Gondor at one point to make is residence there.

Its not Eru Illuvatar, His name is Eru, whom the Elves call Illuvatar. Eru is his true name in Valar, it means the one or the first. Illuvatar is Elvish for Illuminator/Illuminated.
