What a wonderful experience! Such musical talent! I am a great LOTR fan and actually think the vocals on this performance are better than on the original soundtrack. I happened to stumble upon this video by chance and am soooooo pleased that I did - a very moving performance, thank you.

51:51 what an amazing "Into the West" cover, so much warmth and clarity in her voice. I especially appreciate the changes she made from the original. Sounds effortlessly flawless. Can definitely hear her rendition being in the official ROTK song and being sung at the Oscars ceremony😁

The conductor's name is Marko Magdalenić The performers are students of Elly Bašić Musić school from Zagreb, Croatia.

The movement at about the 10:45 mark was particularly excellent, all the way up through the 12:00 mark where the fellowship leaves Rivendell. That is not on the original Soundtrack for the Fellowship of the Ring. They nailed it. Excellent work.

this is not the original soundtrack because we knew that Howard would be mad if we copied it. So our conductor (the most amazing man on planet who actually started all of this and got the idea and fought for us to play that) did the parts for the orchestra and choir, the whole arrangment, by himself. just by listening to the soundtrack from the movies! cheers from the violin player
