George RR Martin styles his name that way as a shout-out to Tolkien, but it’s also his real name. One R name is on his birth certificate, and the other is his Catholic Saint-name. I can’t remember if Tolkien just had two middle names, or if he did the same thing.

Sauron was actually an alien from outer space who came to this world to harvest souls, making everyone sad. Originally, the various groups decided to join together to start a rebellion against him to send him back to the oceanic moon he was created on. Hence the production title: Rebel Moon. And then everyone realized how stupid that sounded, so they just picked a name out of a hat.

The worst take in this was definitely the part where they both agreed that Harvey Weinstein wasnt paid enough for these movies, and should’ve been able to personally accept every award. Bad take guys. Not good.
