I disagree. With last part. If you go back and watch earliest game's trailers carefully you may notice that we had already a very diverse group of characters at the start, from all different places. As an example - the Kjerag trailer that shows Degenbraker and Gnosis, despite the fact that we had Break the Ice event only 2+ years after release. Arknights world did not just grow up bigger over the years, it is *already was huge* at the *very beginning* At least, conceptually. Isn't it a great magnificent universe to dive into?

@@kobeyashi6981 no, the complexity of the world and it's politics, societies and mechanations have always been there we've just been drip fed all of this throught the story chapters and events, and a majority of people cannot comprehend the scope of context without seeing it first hand. even from the base game at release, a massive world dealing with the effects of oripathy, how the infected get treated from country to country, city to city, and how the catastrophes required large cities to be build on mobile plates to move in time, which is all explained in said base game, should already have given you a idea of how large and complicated this world is.

With those demons, in my opinion the most dangerous are the Seaborn because of 2 main things. First is the fact that it is essentially a Hivemind so they have the great way of coordination and the second one is their ability to adapt and evolve (just like the Zerg and Tyranids in Starcraft and Warhammer 40k universes).

The grinding in Arknights repeatedly had me drop the game, but then i would see your expansive lore videos and i'm reminded just how detailed, intricate, and in-depth AK's lore is, and i just can't help but get back into the game if even just for the stories in it. I especially loved the stories set in kazimierz and kjerag, as well as those of the abyssal hunters. it's INSANE how AK's writers manage to put in this much detail and for all of it to feel so interwoven and alive, and not collapse on itself despite how some elements like, say, how the Originium Arts system feels like anything goes sometimes. little correction: the emperor (the penguin seen in the video when talking about human races) is not considered human. He is another type of being, a "great beast", a term I'm not sure if it has come to en yet. "great beasts" are said to be immortal. Other examples are the parrot in the Great Chief returns event, the Duck Lord you see in rougelike, and the lions in Seige's backstory.

And Arknights lore is interesting in all honesty. When I heard originium catastrophies, it reminded me of my idea of magical natural disasters and how they affect society, its development, and both flora and fauna, and I always love the adition of a disease conected to the same power system in the story, it doesnt necessarily be the requirement of the power, but as an effect of either having heavy contact with it, overexerting yourself, or simply a disease that adapt to mana and use it in one way or another, it is to say, it is always interesting to see how magic, mana, energy sources, that arent of our own world affect the entire ecosystem specially if a society uses it. It makes the world feel genuine and familiar in a way where you can understand it personally, but it is different enough to be interested in it.

one severe example is eyjafyalla. she has originium crystals growing internally that it made her legally blind and deaf that she needs sheeps to guide her. It depends of the size of the crystal since originium growth, as mentioned in RS6 collab is unstable and unique in every people that are infected. It's just like having a kidney stone instead growing on kidneys tearing your ureter to your urethra, it grows in your blood vessels, and tearing your arteries and veins as it travels inside your blood vessels. Other cases are originium crystals growing in near skins are crystals that are growing in capillaries in the epidermis.

I have a theory: I feel why people who knew the doc before amnesia had something to detest him for as obviously hinted at by Kelsey(Kal'tsit), as well as why W makes hints to his past as well. I believe the doctor sided with Theresis and possibly helped him usurp the Theresa. It always makes me curious as to why a lot of people say that the doctor used to just use people as pawns. Kelsey is angry because he would have betrayed both her and Theresa and as far as we know, she is supposed to be dead. Maybe because the doctor had amnesia they now have time and the ability to take out the Theresis problem, because the doctor can no longer be on his side and keep people from undoing what was necessary for his betrayal. Now that doc cant remember anything, they don't have to worry about doc being a problem. That's why doc probably keeps getting left in the dark a lot, for fear of doc remembering their memories and reforming into what they were before. They have to strategically let the flood gates out slowly and intentionally, so we don't get betrayer doc. IDK this was just a thought to me while watching all of this. Great video!!

Actually wrong, in vigilo- pre-amnesia doctor was well loved by his operators and he care plenty of them. Remember that the people who said that the doctor used people as pawns are just sarkaz mercenaries- who mind you didn’t care when W murdered their leader. So I understand the Dokutah’S intention of using sarkaz mercenaries to their deaths rather than people they knew about. Scout mentioned that he was sorry for bringing a man of medicine to be in war and that the doctor was originally not this way before. I don’t think the doctor betrayed Theresa otherwise elite operators like scout and ace would dislike him and mind you they were part of babel. Remember this- that only kalsiit and W dislike the doc because they believe that he had a hand in her death but it was not confirmed whether he did that.
