the way I see it is that Nasus had a trap that would activate if there was an intruder, and when the messenger fell through it activated. Nasus was supposed to deliver the relic to Azir, but he gets interrupted by Renekton and then drops the relic. It seems to me as the messenger willingly handed the relic over to Nasus.

I think those geysers may be the effect of xerath's energy/lightning hitting the dessert sands, fusing it into some sort of quartz / crystals / glass. Note that this does also happen sort what in real life

Living in Australia its not uncommon to hear of small furred animals (we have Marsupials) to live in the desert, the Greater Bilby is a classic example. The fur helps protect from the sun reflecting heat rather than containing body heat so I can for sure see a Poro living in the desert. Also at 4:30 Id want to say they are massive salt pillars, but unsure if salt water could have been flowing around that part of Shurima maybe just crystalised minerals from the life giving water that once flowed in the area? cool design though

Senna is from Bilgewater(an island called Mudtown), Lucian is Demacian, and there are Light Sentinels all around the world. I'm not sure but I don't think their specific origin was disclosed.

@Tesla-Effect We also have creatures that can never survive outside their home areas such as Penguins. Also all the poros look alike and no noticeable survival traits that makes sense why they would survive in the area they supposedly shouldn't. As for instance there are multiple species of bear but you can't just take any old bear and plot them in the Antarctic and expect them survive. They will freeze to death because they haven't adapted to the cold like Polar Bears have just as Polar Bears would suffer in places of extreme heat.

According to u/AceOBlade on reddit, those cristallised things are actually the consequences of Xerath attacks on Taliyah during The Climb cinematic. When sands gets in contact with lighting it cristallises so it makes sense that Xerath could have done that accidently when he tried to shoot Taliyah

When you were talking about the three portals in Nasus' library, you can see a fourth portal in the top left corner. And theoretically there are more portals behind the camera too. I refuse to live in a world where Nasus, the godlike ascended, would keep an asymmetrical layout of the portals in his library.
