I love Mendocino. It is always pretty up there even during foggy days.

@Vintage1976 It’s quite a bit south of Kenny. It starts on the Usal Road just south of Shoreline Rock and the last scene is the overlook to Usal beach.

Well now, do you have ANY idea what a license for Talk to me of Mendocino by Linda Ronstadt would cost? My guess is in excess of $10K.

I have a new version shot in 2013 that I will post as soon as I work out some false copyright claims. Look for it in a week or so.

I don't have a cure for the double image or blur when panning or zooming with consumer quality HD video. I have the same problem so I don't do long pans anymore. I believe it was there in non-HD video too but not as noticeable do to the low res. I imagine the Professional cameras might not have that problem. Maybe a Pro will speak up. BTW, I will be on this road in a couple of days.. good video anyway!

Do you enter off of branscomb road?
@markimatang8 жыл бұрын
No, you enter from Highway One a couple of miles north of Rockport. According to brnav.com/wordpress/?p=1927 “You pull off Highway 1 at about N39º 46.823′ W123º 49.894′”

@doughnutguy82 Yes, this was taken late April 2010. It’s absolutely spectacular in the spring but in April it’s still very wet, 4 WD advised. It’s still nice in May and not quite so wet. I’ll do another video this spring concentrating on the critters and flowers, but if you would like to see more of the road here are some outtakes - watch?v=AkN1aQcPxOI (The full URL is in the discription).

@Hal Fread Horse Mt Creek trail from up on top of King Peak Rd. is a nice hike. Shoreline is great there, from Black Sand Beach to the south all the way up to Gitchell Creek to the north.

More areas of the USA need to be protected from the increasing urban sprawl, including California and the South West. The problems caused by mass immigration and resource consumption shouldn't be brushed under the carpet, and troops should be brought home to defend American interests, history and values instead of fighting wars overseas. For what is left of your land, is a priceless commodity; something many other countries have lost through globalisation and their own complacency.

@SRSOS15 жыл бұрын
@@jonmacdonald5345 Yep. Ferns. While "weed" would grow right there, it would most likely be stunted. You have to go east a valley or two away from the ocean, for ideal cannabis growing conditions. Much hotter in those valleys in the summer than on the coast.
