You’ve done an absolutely wonderful job of filming this beautiful and atmospheric place. St Oswald’s is built on the site of a possible Roman Villa or temple. In the 1970s either side the altar there were two holes where you could see parts of a mosaic floor. It’s been covered up for protection. The birdsong creates the perfect soundtrack.

The church looks immaculate from the outside but could do with some renovation inside. Although it is charming and lovely to see. Thanks for another relaxing walk. Beautiful place

I live out in the country. Years ago when I first arrived; across the road there was a field with a sizable hedgerow with many apple trees. I headed over to pick apples. I got a fright as there were milk cows in the lower field that saw me WITH THE WHITE BUCKET. Needless to say they came running! In a short time I was SURROUNDED by these beasts! I thought I was going to get trampled on but they didn’t but rather stopped several feet away in a circle to take me in. I managed to pick my apples and on the way out tossed a few for some cows for not getting trampled on. That was a thrill for a girl from the city. Funny memories

И оказаться в римской постройке , окунуться в в такую даль , бездну ... Веков . Почему и смотрю Вас , Кевин . Наконец я сам это понял . Спасибо большое . Вы редко , очень редко , за исключением могилы Черчилля , показываете могильные плиты , саркофаги . Хотелось бы рассмотреть подробно историю захоронений .
