Hello Tom and Julianna, I am blessed with a treat. A new episode! The Santa Fe Trail is a fascinating place and the armadillo was amazing. Such a strange looking critter! The many thousands of settlers who took their wagons into the great unknown. A vast ocean of grassland, populated with fauna unknown back in Europe. I’m glad that the state of Kansas preserves the trails and provides maps and historical markers. It’s an endlessly thrilling tale that features a lot of slow travel and season on season hard work. I’m glad you enjoyed your meal and you both had a lovely day! Peace be with you, Rick
