Brilliant mate, brought back some memories, Rob Roy, Diamond XX. I used to love it in Cloudies. Left Eccles in 1995 to be a Postie in the Isle of Man...now I try n promote traditional pubs n keep them alive...look forward to pt 3👍

Brilliant show. Used to visit my nana back in the early 70s. I remember the fair used to be built up near the market too. Mam always bought her bacon ribs on market in the days when you could get them for pennies. And during the eighties, used to have a drink in the stables. I hear is still open. I look forward to your next edition. 👌

Dougie probably returned beer / slops to the barrels hence the cloudy beer issue. It was a common practise.
