Hello, I just want to comment that Vatican Sci-Fi can be found in AC2 in the Ezio Collection version, it plays during a side mission, I think I've heard it in Venice during a beat up mission, the last one if I remember correctly. I was so confused when I heard it the first time.

Even though valhalla is trash compared to ac2... its music is the best so far. Ubisoft just cant let ezios Family go because they want the old Fans to remember

@@dragonballptkjr.3922 I expected a game as good as the music for Valhalla. AC2 entire soundtrack is the best in AC, and one of the best of gaming all time. Valhalla's full album is just behind AC2's for me.

Jesper understood the heartstring pulling beauty and elegance AC2's soundtrack was crying out for better than any other composer they could have picked and gave us something i'll never ever fotget. Also, shout out to Melissa Kaplan the vocalist for her incredible work that complimented Kyd's work perfectly.

THE TIMING OF THIS IS PERFECT!!! I am going through AC2 in the Ezio Collection and just discovered Vatican Sci-fi today. And all the message boards have been without answers for 14 years. And I got this game 14 years ago and it’s still my all time favorite.

There is also a track named "Florence Rooftops" which I'm guessing is the track that plays whenever you do race missions in Florence. The track is really good.

The first time I heard the Vatican sci-fi theme was when I was doing the San Gimignano assassination contracts right before heading to Rome to finish the story. It was so eerie and genuinely creeped me out; I was expecting the calm, mellow tunes to play but what followed was a damn scary techno soundtrack. One of my most memorable moments relating to the Ezio Trilogy's soundtrack. Also there's a version of Earth with lyrics, I first heard that from one of your other videos. Honestly wish someone would mod that into the game because its absolutely beautiful

Earth Song Demo is awesome. I love how it sounds almost modern, but there’s still remnants of Ezio’s Family in there. Very fitting for Desmond.

Escape Low is a variant of Venice Escape, which is as it says, the track that plays when escaping from combat in Venice. The Low version may have been intended for similar uses as Venice Combat Low, contextual music for specific missions that required a different tone from the full versions. Venice Combat also has an unused endtag (in-game the music just fades out when combat ends). Then there's Wrath, a variant of Venice combat which was used in the E3 demo, with only its intro appearing in the final game in the first Secret Location mission. Regarding some other unused musical tidbits, Home in Florence has an additional 30 second coda at the end which can only be found in a version of the track included in Brotherhood (for the Cristina missions). Florence Rooftops was an early race theme, before it was decided that all races would use Venice Rooftops (based off the main Earth theme). Darkness Falls in Florence is completely unused in the base game. The only time it plays is an excerpt during the introduction of the Orsi brothers in the Battle of Forli DLC.

Vatican Sci-fi still plays in the game. It played in my game when I started an assassination side mission in Venice. It scared the shit out of me hahahaha. I believe the last patch made the music play normally in the game

The collectible pickup jingle is very simillair to the one in the first AC, and it also sounds like it has a small motif from the "Sanctuary" track, maybe they were planning to have different pickup sound for each city

I’ve replayed this game so many times, on Xbox, and I only recently heard Vatican sci-fi. Unless I just never noticed lol. Freaked me out the first time I heard it

The Vatican Sci-fi track does not have a bug problem but it fell victim to the stupid notoriety mechanics and music editing which unfortunately is problematic in Ezio games. For some reason you get more recognition for stealth assassinations so when you try to stealth kill everyone in Vatican, you get maximum notoriety level which kicks in a specific theme that replaces all other ones. Another thing I hate about music editing in those games is that whether you get a combat theme or a chase theme is dependent on enemy proximity so the game just keeps switching between the two never letting one ring out. They also used a worse version of Flying Through Venice and if you head straight to the target you will not even hear the best part of it (which you would if they just used the better version where chorus comes earlier).

I'm pretty sure Vatican Sci-Fi didn't make it to the PS3 and PS4 versions, either. I would know. I've played through them a combined total of approximately 34 times.

By happenstance I heard Vatican sci-fi on xbox 360 only once while my brother was playing in Venice near the ducal palace. Having played many times before and never stumbling upon it we looked at each other with WTF expressions! The song is OK until the guy starts singing the prayer in latin with that creepy voice

It was a perfect game 10/10. Now if we could just get a remake with today's graphics because with every new entry Ubisoft claims to go back to its roots but it doesn't capture that whole AC1, AC2 vibe.

A lot of games Ubisoft made before the first Assassin's Creed like POP or Splinter Cell were like 100% pure grade A Colombian ... And once Assassin's Creed hit the Ubisoft logo stood for pretty much endless supplies of fentanyl. The decisions they made on AC, an IP with so much potential, are quite honestly baffling to me.

How about the lost soundtrack of Assassin’s Creed 1, BH, RV and 3. The first game had a soundtrack played a Chase theme in the E3 Demo that never made it to the final game as well as one played in the prototype version of the third game.
