@@katiezee2 ohhh no. They left it halfway. Just like a few other stories. I don't get it, why do a production if you dont want to finish what you start? Terranova was stopped at Season 1, Primeval stopped at Season 5. Primeval New World stopped at Season 1 also if I'm not mistaken. Sad!

If they had wanted to, they could have made a 2 hr episode to finish things for the fans - but they didn't.

Wondering if anyone can help. I remember either a show or movie from when I was a kid (approx. 20 years ago now). Two scenes I remember are a dinosaur falling into a spike trap, and a guy getting his head beaten in with a rock by a load of tribesmen. I think there was a scene in a canyon type environment as well. I remember it being pretty good but never got the chance to watch it again. Does it ring a bell for anyone?

most of those are adaptions of a novel written by sir arthur conan doyle (the creator of sherlock holmes) that was published in 1917 called The Lost World. It was the first major story focusing on dinosaurs released to the public and is considered an iconic story. So much so, the 1925 film you listed was its first major adaption in cinema. This series is an original retelling of the story with a more original and expanded plot. The 2001 version was the last direct film adaption of the story. The lost world jurassic park has no ties to sir arthur conan doyles original novel, apart from its title, but is nonethiless considered by its author michael crichton as a homage to sir arthur conan doyles classic.
