Sad moments between them during Toy 🧸 Story 4: 1) The intro where Bo is given away to another family. Woody goes after her and tries to save her, but she is fine with it. And Woody would have joined her were it not for Andy desperately looking for him and you can see a sad version of his "dormant" state as he sees the car drive showing how distraught he is about losing Bo. Then, as Andy finds him, his face freezes back into his dormant state’s usual smile, hiding his pain for Andy’s sake. 2) After failing to rescue Forky the first time, Woody is adamant to try again despite the previous attempt almost killing his friends. Bo Peep calls him out of it, claiming that Woody is trying to save Forky because of his own selfish desire to make Bonnie happy no matter how much danger he puts himself and his friends through. Woody then coldly states that a lost toy like Bo would never know the concept of loyalty that he has for his owner. Bo is understandably devastated by this, and so does Woody when he finally realizes his mistake, but by then it's too late. Everyone abandons Woody to his futile quest, with only Buzz sticking around with him, and even then Woody still decides to go after Forky, leaving Buzz behind in the process.

The fact that in the very end when Woody chose to abandon Bonnie, it was the best decision he ever made. As a toy do you really think having an owner can benefit you living the life you've been missing? It was his/her job to pretend a toy would, but Bo Peep thought otherwise. Woody didn't want to leave Bonnie because of feeling insignificant, but because he did it for the love of his own life he then realized he already has

The ending of Toy Story 4 reminds me of how old grown people retire or give their positions at work or any position to younger people. This is shown when Woody accepts that he is no longer the favorite toy, and Forky is the one instead. He realizes that his time is probably over with Bonnie, and instead he can live the peaceful life with Bo Peep, in which they are free to choose how they will spend their lives. I can't really develop more of this story (since I'm really young), but that's the message that I perceived when I watched the film.

Woody and Bo were always my favorite couple in the Toy Story series, and Bo was always my favorite character. I remember dressing up like her for Halloween when I was younger, having a Bo Peep doll, and feeling heartbroken when I discovered that she wasn't in the third film. I'm so happy she's reunited with Woody and was given a huge role in the fourth film (also, you have amazing taste in tea, Issac!)

She proved to be “a hard catch” for him, and seeing how he gets EVERYTHING he wants, he wanted the untamable, to the degree that if he doesn’t get it, nobody will, he may’ve been able to go as far as also murdering Belle if she would’ve continued refusing as in the movie it showed she couldn’t care less about the social pressure she faced every day and she would be glad to leave the town if given the chance if that means to find peace for both her and her father. The only real thing Gaston had to threaten Belle for real was her very own father, and he knew, but even then, Belle was STILL a tough bone.

Thank you so much for this video. After watching Toy Story 4 in the theater and trying to analyze Woody and Bo Peep throughout the course of the series, I still couldn’t understand why Bo Peep had changed a lot. Your analysis and Seamus’ analysis helped me connect the dots. Now when I watch Toy Story 4, I’m not so confused as to why Bo Peep is different. I still don’t get why Buzz is trying to find his inner voice, as he was confident in his actions and decisions before, but now I feel better about the main story as a whole. Thank you.

Bo peep has been WAITING for woody to choose her over a kid even way before she was departing from molly but there was one thing that held that desire back, it's that she hates and loves woody for his stubborn and crazy loyal side. You can see throughout toy story 4 that she's been apprehensive ever since woody said he has a kid (bonnie), and thats understandable because of how she grew thick skin and some defense walls from all the rejection and being handed around that she took before toy story 4 happened. And you JUST CANNOT not notice how she tries to not get carried away by woody's presence from time to time. And in the end scene when woody looked back to run towards bo peep again, her reaction is pure hope and disbelief at the same time. Just goes to show that she's been dying and waiting for Woody to finally look at her like she was finally no. One. And she finally was cuz he chose her.

Uggggh! Why didn’t Woody and Bo just go to Sunnyside and be played with there forever! They would’ve been happy and they could’ve been able to be near their friends and found ways to still interact with them! 😭

Because Sunnyside was a real cruel terrible dangerous place for new Toys to even be in because of the fact Lotso Bear was mean rude bully Toy who didn’t care about anyone or anything but himself to decide to make the place his & do whatever his wants to do at Sunnyside to be the Leader of the other Toys who stayed in there for quite some years ago where he had them to take New Toys & trap them in like prison. Bo Peep was probably still made of Porcelain Figurine around the time where she couldn’t be there because then she would have been broke easily from doing crazy adventures with Woody & their friends where she probably would have been gone forever & not been seen again to be the end of her. So that’s probably why they didn’t add Bo Peep in Toy Story 3 nor was able to go to Sunny because she was Porcelain Figurine which is the reason why she was sold by another Kid that Molly wanted to give away & didn’t want Bo Peep anymore which we saw in Toy Story 4 when Pixar decide to make not what she was & made her like a real normal Toy to be played with when she was a lost Toy & wanted to be free from being owned by Kids. So you could say it was good thing Bo Peep was not in Toy Story 3 when she & Woody finally got back together again at the end of the Toy Story 4 when Woody had to leave the his friends behind including Buzz. We just can only hope they make Toy Story 5 & make Woody & Bo Peep go back their friends back at Bonnie’s House where may have Andy come back from College to come visit his Toys & may take them back Home with him to let his Son or Daughter of his own have them for the Toys to be back all together again just hoping it happens later on in the Future if they decide to even make Toy Story 5 or not which would be really sad if they don’t 🥺😔
