Dude, this series is a dream, and crushing my dreams all at the same time. I had a dream of a putting green that i maintain myself. I think it’s almost impossible to do unless you are either a professional, or at least have access to some of the specialist equipment needed! Also makes me appreciate the condition of my course a lot more! Fantastic stuff, truly what dreams are made off 👀

I was thinking the same but I work away from a lot. Has anyone invented a robomow yet, like those vacuum things. An automated small rotary blade that returns to a charge pod after ejected the grass into next door's yard? :-)

Mate that green is looking the goods. Would also love more progress info in the rye brah. Super interesting as that’s what most of us viewers are working with. They were cutting the greens at my club yesterday, I asked the guy what height they were running and he said 17. I was thinking there's no way he meant 17 mil cuz they're already pretty quick. Looking great! The top dresser seems to lay down heavier bits directly in front of the spreader and on the edges. Would it be suited to an overlapping pattern, so that all parts are covered in one heavier and one lighter part of the spreading pattern?

Ball sits in a groove & won't come down til it reaches a certain height.

So once it rolls out of the groove you don’t move the stimp. It’s also why an average is taken with 3 balls just In case there is any inconsistencies. I’ve heard they are developing a new electronic golf ball that will be able to measure green speeds in future!
