The LP55 Dart Zone Clone: 180+fps After Modding!

The Lehui LP55 manual, spring powered Nerf pistol. A very obvious clone of the popular Dart Zone Mk2, however it has some improvements over the original. And is also much cheaper than the official release, particularly for international markets.
With these improvements, and swapping in the stronger spring from a Dart Zone Mk2 and adding a spring spacer, I achieved a velocity high of 193ft/s.

This blaster could have been huge if it wasn't for the non cross compatibility with 38mm darts. We definitely need more companies doing things like this. A good base with modding potential.

The mk 2.1 is 100$ is in the us and is expensive because it has 3 mags, 18 bamboo 2.0 darts, high quality holster, muzzle, and also rubber gripping

Got one today and the internals are pretty good, the shell on the other hand is light and feels less solid. To bad about the mag compatability problem, because it's a pretty sleak blaster that fxes all problems with the MK II without being gigantic like the 2.1, gecko, zinc etc....

Another video and another order on my behalf. You are costing me money mate lol I agree, the mk2.1 its great but the price is ridiculous at this stage. When the original came out, wasn't much on the market for injection molded pistol so you can justify it but these days with s200, viper and this for example. Question comes down to why would you buy mk2.1 as a secondary for that price.

The sad part is within the US the Mk2.1 is only $90USD but because third parties have to import them for us to buy here in Australia they can charge ridiculous prices like $269 or whatever it was

@@BradleyPhillipsYT we get screwed left right and centre here in Oz, the cheapest I've seen was at BT for 240 but even at that price, its hard to wrap your head around for a pistol. If the mk2.1 was full metal internals and hitting over 200fps then its maybe. But dart zone really needs to set up something here in Oz, to get the price down plus another market for them. Even if they offer it for $140 to $160, people will consider it more. Until then, majority of us will by from Chinese companies because its cheaper and add mod cost, you'll still be in front

This blaster is so close to the true Nerf sidearm. The new DZP sidearm is ridiculously large. I wonder if anyone has cut away the extra plastic on that one yet.

Depends on the blaster, 11.1v will increase rate of fire which the cheap plastic ones might not enjoy the increase in wear and tear.

They do work when top loaded, but they snag up inside the magazine because the magazine was designed for 36mm darts and i believe the dz'a ruby darts are 38mm. They snag up in mine.
