Not dumb at all, oem truck pan fits but hangs way too low. Best pan is 98 camaro style or close to it, there are so many variations

Use edelbrock 640853, they clip on to the stock efi fitting and convert to an. I have a -6 feed and a -4 return. This car won't ever make enough power to need more fuel than that. Cheap and simple solution!

Fans are gonna give you nightmares…..get 1) spal H/O 16” puller fan…….DONE…..all my LS swaps get this particular fan…..when it kicks on you can literally watch the temp drop within seconds…..even at a red light in 100*+ temps

I may change in the future, car is still running cool in 30+ deg c Temps (around 90 f)
