Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh SABATA. I don't recall when I first saw this, but I remember insisting my wife watch it with me on TCM (or maybe the STARZ Western Channel). All the trick guns, quick zoom shots and crazy humor won me over. The Second SABATA was okay with Telly. The third was fine. That crazy first one is a True Classic.

Lee van cleef’s career is amazing he went from the forgettable low rent villain in almost every American western both high and low brow (and a few film noirs) And just as his career was in stir took an opportunity by SergioLeone to play in “For a few dollars more” not only rejuvenating his career but reinventing himself As the ultimate anti-hero in the Italian film genre even out weighing Clint Eastwood (sorry) with a menacing on screen presence and to take from a line from the Sabata trailer “a look that means you’re dead you draw” cleef owned the Italian western genre. Great review once again!

Yes Sabata is amazing....The Return of Sabata is excellent as well, I own the Return of Sabata, I need to buy Sabata as well, both are great. Now the Sabata starring Yul Brynner is not so good.

Jeff Herrington I watched all three of the Sabata films recently and really enjoyed them. My favorite was the first one though. Pretty solid flick!

Bro do you take requests? Like, can I ask you to review The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? Or even Swamp Thing?
