This is so creepy. I was mad when I found out society and most of all my parents lied to me about Santa as a kid.. great let's start kids off with delusions and lies. I hate the idea of Santa. I will never teach my kids Santa exists it's a dumb concept. Why are we lying to children?!

Do it all in the spirit of Christmas! I started out when I was 15 for the cub scouts and didn’t pick it up again till I was 24 or 25 and have done it every year even through covid. This will be my 5th season.

I was at an unrelated trade show in February when a man with a big, white beard walked up to me. He said, "You'd be a good Santa. You should think about it." He then gave me the address for a website that hires and books professional Santas. I said I'd heard you can make a lot of money doing this. As much as $15K. He laughed and said, "That's nothing. I made ### last December." I was stunned! I don't want to publish the figure for fear of creating unrealistic goals and getting people's hopes up, but let me say this, $25K wasn't even close to what he was pulling in. So yes, this is quite lucrative if you stick with it.

I charge $300 for a personalized home visit. Some have balked at that. What they don't realize is that makes it possible for me to do hospital visits and visits to those who aren't quite so well off. I have a lot of money tied up in my suits and equipment and marketing. I just can't do it off for free. Nothing disgusting about that.
