I think a trick is telling people they can't smell vodka on your breath..

I started as a whiskey guy in my 20s, dabbled with tequila and rum for a bit. Now I’m my 30s I love a good vodka tonic or cocktail. It seems that as I get older I’m going for more subtle nuanced flavors

I can definitely tell the difference between a more expensive vodka a la grey goose or whatever vs something bottom shelf.

Although I agree that there is some degree of marketing involved I strongly disagree that there is little difference between a 15 and 40 usd vodka, the level of impurities will depend how many times it’s distilled, the more time the fewer impurities but the higher the costs ergo the increase in price and the less severe hangover the next day.

No law specifies that vodka must be distilled to 97%

Every other spirit has got such a strong taste. It's like you gotta be in the mood for it or not. And its EASY to ruin a spirit for life off one bad experience. You'll remember that "gin" taste from that one night forever. Vodka, its always there, always a go to, easy to take, no bs, straight up

I started drinking vodka as its quite easy really. I drink it now if i want a dependable smooth drink to enjoy neat. Good video. Id say half of what i drink is Smirnoff. Its enjoyable. Kind of like the coca cola of spirits. I know what im going to get.

Why are you surprised that rum is second most? I'm not from US but seems like rum is pretty prevalent
