The Lure short film

Well, I've been snowed in for a little while and was getting bored. I decided I'd put together a little short film to pass the time and to make the best of the snow. It's kind of corny and slapped together in a hurry but it was kind of fun.

Wife and I enjoyed it Captain Kane. Ready for the next chapter of your tale. It kinda reminds me of the old Flash Gordon series. Love how you took advantage of those extreme conditions on that planet.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I had thought of more story to continue this, but didn't know if anyone wanted to see it lol. I might try to develop it a little more. Better than sitting and watching the snow fall.

That Was Awesome!!!! Fun, well done Luke. Can't even pick my favorite part... the sweatshirt? Flavorfull AI voice selection in that last captain's bridge scene... the "old school" parachute system... too good. Thanks for the fun surprise. I think the sweatshirt was best choice.

Thanks! Yeah I think I may have to start spraying the yard, getting a lot of pests. I wanted to try out some editing things I have been learning. From the looks of it I still have a lot left to learn, but I enjoy trying.

The editor is called DaVinci Resolve. Most of the sound effects and the space ship animation was from royalty free videos from KZbin. There's all kinds of great instructional videos for DaVinci Resolve. Good luck it is really fun.

LOL I can see that. I'm not much of an actor and these kind of films aren't for everybody. Don't worry, theres quite a few more inventing and building projects coming. Just waiting for the weather to break. I always title my films with the word film in them so you can skip them if you want.
