"The Night Gallery" vignette ("Pickman's Model") "Creepshow" ("The Crate") and Edward French's stellar narration brought me here.

What I like about this one sir is your choice of H.P. Lovecraft material that’s perfect for your voice. But what knocks this one out the park is your passion for the Lovecraft story! And I must say that was a nice touch coming back into the scene at the end of narration.

Thanks, Dweller of the dark-I'm glad to hear that you have that opinion. Eventually I will narrate an entire story on camera....but for now, this is as far as it should go. Cheers. E.E.F.

I've read all of lovecrafts stuff. I'm (just lol) old enough to remember when 1. His stuff was hard to find 2. There was no Internet. "Good Evening," my benefactor said. He spoke calmly, as if he had already taken his portion of dinner, which for him was to ingest the shuddering fear felt by all who heard his greeting. He looked at you as if he had already eaten, was now ready for brandy and a talk by the fire. In his eyes, you could see the immutable laws of the universe, among them the certainty that there was no escape from his telling of the tale. He was going to talk. And I was going to listen. The matter was as undeniable as a geometric proof. And so, as if in the house of Usher, I listened to him tell me his story, enshrining me with his words which, brick by brick, closed in around me until there was nothing left but darkness and the inescapable voice of my benefactor.

Two faithful and muscular men commonly associated with the nosey narrator rest on either side of him, together in the same bed. The narrator feels one arm fling across his chest, and he takes no steps to remove it. These are very comfortable friends.
