This is one of the best, most comprehensive videos I’ve seen on the subject of Lyme treatment and recovery. Thanks so much for posting this.

It's very hard to find a Doctor who treats this in Australia. So sad for us who suffer.

Excellent and lucid presentation. For those of you suffering with this disease from hell, let me assure you that I have tried everything imaginable in my battle against it for the past 10 years. But the ONE thing I never TRULY committed to was eating the proper diet. Oh, I bullshit myself because there were times when I ate really well, but invariably I would rationalize that I "earned" a treat here and there. I want my life back. As I write this I am on day 8 of a water only fast, and yes, that brain fog we have can get MUCH worse. It goes without saying that I feel like shit, but guess what, it's day 8 of a 10 day fast and I'm still here. I'm not expecting to be cured in 10 days, but I do expect my body to be ready to rebuilt afterwards, and I firmly believe that my gut issues are the major culprit behind my symptoms. Perhaps later I will do extended fasts of 21 days or longer, but I do know in between I will be intermittent fasting along with my healing diet. This fight is far from over folks, but damn it, what choice do we have? I'm going all 15 rounds with this disease, and I'll be the one standing in the end.

I recommend reading many books related to gut health (Wheat Belly, GAPS, Blood Type etc.) and picking out the best information for your personal situation out of everything you read or watch on You Tube (keep a journal). My personal favorite is the Blood Type Diet since I have a less common blood type.

I've been up all night watching videos and reading about lyme. I'm in horrible pain as usual and soo very sick but also emotional thinking about all I've lost the past several years...relationships, career, friends family my mind! I have tried everything and desperately need help finding a Lyme literate Dr that takes insurance. I'm on disability and have no one...please help

Karen Calvi I feel much like you after being sick for 5 years. The lack of support has been affecting me very strongly lately. I see a Dr. That takes insurance. He's in NJ. Let me know if you'd like his name. Hang in there...

Karen Calvi me to I just got it and am FREAKING OUT and I'm on Ssi to. I'm only allowed 12 visits a year to ANY doctor in one year so I'm really panicked. Going to have to fight this basically without doctors because of the 12 visit issue

I've struggled for 5 years with Chronic Lyme and was bed ridden for 3 of them, year 4 I was able to get up and move around a bit more. This is year 5 and as crazy as it sounds as soon as I started taking Stevia, 4-5 packets per day (make sure it's the leaf extract) and high dose probiotics I started improving right away. I also added Vit D, C and the B Vit, plus magnesium, which really helped me sleep and with the heart palpatations. I also ate an AIP type diet while healing with lots of organic dark leafy greens, healthy fats and bone broth. (but I had to stay away from nuts and seeds for awhile.) I also ate lots of fermented vegetables which really helped as well. Not sure if that would help you or not. Praying for relief for you as well.

Here in northern California we get a lot of tick bites, especially years like this one where there's a lot of rain.... I've had borelliosis many times since I moved here in the early 80s, and anaplasmosis at least once, and so have a lot of my neighbors - tick vectored illnesses are taken for granted here. Our clinic was very proactive in the begining, but lately they follow the more conservative guidelines - they'll usually only give a few days of doxycycline either prophylactically or to treat verified infection.... I understand their reasoning, especially for me because it's so easy to get reinfected.... between working outside and having pets it's really easy to pick up a tick. At 70 I've pretty given up on antibiotics unless I get very ill, it's not worth the hassle otherwise. I do worry about my partner though, because she has some issues that might be borrellia related. Thank you kindly for posting this information - might be a good idea for her to get tested...cheers.

Teresa Justice I live in London, have been severely ill for over 30years diagnosed with, fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue, Raynauds, depression etc, I recently went for bio resonance privately and was diagnosed with Lyme and many co infections. Google a therapist in your area. The parasites are already dying off although I know it’s a slow process and I hope to improve greatly.

I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and CFS for 19 years when my Lyme and Celiac desease was finally figured out. I know it's hard but keep searching. I moved to California from Texas because I couldn't find a decent doctor out there. Good luck.
