He will happily talk about the other stunt performers in his films. In the film Night and Day alot of the bike work wasn't done by Tom and most are on rigs that stunt people had arranged. @@toddboughn5168 He was not excellent in Eyes Wide Shut by any stretch of the imagination. He wasn't even good. They just reshot every scene until they got a take where he didn't suck so bad that Kubrick wasn't ashamed to put it in his movie. Take when tommy boy needed to express intense anger and frustration. How did he handle it? He hit his open hand. He handled it with hand acting, because he doesn't know what human emotions feel like. And that was the _best_ take they had to work with. Kubrik prolly made him do 30, 40, 50 takes, and that was the _least_ clownish one Tom could produce. He was every bit as bad in EWS as he was in everything else he has done. They were simply able to bury it better than other movies. SMMFH

I remember when scientology was first in my city and they were trying to recruit people. My friend and I were teenagers and went along, having no clue what it was or what it was about and they showed a video and those machines that I forget the name of, it measure how unhappy you are or something... any way, we watched the video and by the end of it my friend and I had gone from giggling to barely controlled hysterics - that didn't go down well. Any way, I think what's interesting about your suspicions of Tom Cruise's sociopathy is the 'behind the scenes' stuff with scientology, like how higher up people are allowed to slap people lower down the rankings, I'm sure theres a story of some girl Tom Cruise was being set up with before Katie Holmes who he supposedly slapped for something she said to him. I also heard that they people down the bottom (the poor people basically) work slave labour for all those high up on the list for free and don't forget turning his and Nicole's children against their mother. Only a truly vile person would use children against a parent.

This is a bit off topic, tho it's still about TC. Out of curiosity I went a bit through Tom Cruise's instagram account and I found the comments really odd xD it's a lot of "you saved my life." stuff, a few compliments on his acting (which isn't that good, his stunts are but his emotional portrayal isn't really that complex - ergo he's an outstanding stuntman but only okay at acting... in my eyes at least) and a bunch of die hard fans. But the "you saved my life" stuff... what's that about? It's such a weird thing to get that multiple times on almost every post.

The ability to be an actor is the ability to manipulate. The question i've always wondered about is. What becomes of these people's real personalities. One cannot play numerous characters throughout their lives without doing damage to their psyche. Ive never really been a big Com Truise fan. There was always something that rubbed me the wrong way about him.

Why do people try and convert or convince you of their religion? Why? If you believe, truly believe, you know what not to do. You know to be it, but not push it. I personally believe he is a friend of Dorothy. He knows it, he has to keep it private. He is very much in love with Tome Cruise. I don’t care really. He’s very talented, and his films are stupendous. He doesn’t have to be nice. He’s obviously happy in his skin. It is sad his isn’t a Dad and an husband, a good man. He himself is the pale image of himself. He is Dorian Grey.

There must be something wrong with me. I just don’t get the Tom Cruise thing. I’ve never gone to a movie because he was in it. I thought he was good in Risky Business and Top Gun but by the time War of The Worlds came out it seems he lost whatever charisma he had. At least for me. WTW was the last movie I saw him in. If you want to see Cruise genuinely laughing his ass off, watch the Letterman clip about the airplane.

He isn't a sociopath. Sociopaths don't dress up or put on proverbial masks. They dont engage well with people and often reject societal rules. Hence the term sociopath ie anti-social disorder. Psychopaths and sociopaths share the same traits of lacking empathy and a drive to take advantage of weakness, but they differ in in the persons ability or willingness to engage in social dynamics to achieve a desired outcome. This is why very few actors would be sociopaths, but many could be psychopaths.

In the 80s I lived across the street from the Scientology place in a major city. I had read L.Ron Hubbard, but only his sci fi. He started as a science fiction writer. I has read Dianetics, the first editions, his original. Me day out of sheer boredom, I went into the Scientology place and sat thru, where I was told I had to buy the newest version of the book, it was different. And it was. My memory is pretty good and at the time what there saying, was NOT what was in his original book, and I said as much.. I was asked to leave and not come back.

It seems a little over the top with this anti-Tom Cruise as an actor person, etc. Go after him for a supportive Scientology. And as Aaron Levin Smith says, the human trafficking cult. Going after him as a person just sounds petty. And in my opinion, it’s also petty with these constant attack on Megan, the Duchess of Sussex and by doing so, attacking his Majesty King Charles III.

Maybe I should ask this question to Dr. Grande? Shatner is by far an amazing actor and has been solid in everything he has done. He is THE Captain Kirk! Just re-watching the original series.
