I used to haul trash in the northeast. I was one of the trucks that took the trash from the transfer stations to the landfills. The longest trip the garage takes to its final destination. Made some of the best money I ever made those days. All cash too! Most of us in the trucking fleet were young 20 somethings with more balls than brains. We loved the guys we worked for! Then in the mid to late 90s the feds came in and the bosses were all up on RICO. It wasn't until then that we realized who we were working for. After all that, all the money disappeared and you could no longer make two loads a day. Everything ran so much less efficiently. It wasn't worth doing anymore. Things were far, far better under mob management. I still think of those fellas and those times a lot.

In Poland local government gives their friends permits to store toxic waste on random plots of land (abandoned factories, old mines ect.). After they fill up, or the government changes and revokes the permit, magically those land fills burst in flames. So the owners do not need to care about disposal and they get insurance money.

id watch a video of him showing how one of these videos get done. the quality is so high it cant be 1 person doing everything. and also, how did he start? i dont think you can just wake up one day and make one of these, or even plan to make one of these. at some point after trying to do everything by yourself, you'd look into getting help from other people. then, who do you hire? how much do you pay them? like how do you go from nothing to this high quality video making machine?

It's incredible how we're KZbin -dependent now. All that has been aired on news etc in a sneaky way (to avoid attracting the ire of the powerful)...it,'s probably bits of memories of news articles we've read as a population along decades or centuries that have accumulated to this presentation, technology helping the synthesis of all that. I do share your opinion in the presentation of such topics Jake-Tran style, our youths will have easier access to truth or at least a shadow of it to start doubting about what meaningful truth is.

The landfill where I live is owned by one family that leases the property to the borough. The family also controls the trucks that transport garbage to other landfills. They are paid by the borough per truck. They don't compact the garbage so more trucks can run. Consequently we pay $130 per ton for construction/demolition disposal which adds about 15% to the cost of a re-roof.

My grandfather was a Norwegian immigrant who started a successful business a little ways from New York City. After making a bit of money he decided he wanted to try branching out into another business. He heard that there was a trash collecting contract available in a nearby town and started making inquiries. A little while later, he was in his favorite bar when a couple of Italian guys came asking around for him. They politely informed him that contract was already taken and he shouldn't pursue any trash collection contracts in the New York City area.

I used to live in Naples in the mid 2000's. The camorra instigated a strike that caused parts of a US Military Base to shut down over waste collection. They would collect piles of trash and dump them in random plots of land. Some days the sky would be white from the smoke from the trash they burned.
