The Mages Guild Questline: Part 2 - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

In today's video, we continue with the mages guild questline in the game of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. We speak to Raminus Polus who gives us multiple tasks. We carry out 3 different quests in this video. A Mage's Staff sees us creating our own staff, however, things take a turn when we find necromancers waiting for us. Ulterior Motives sees us seeking counsel with the count of Skingrad and instead, we meet with a darker foe. Finally, Vahtacen's secret sees us us venturing into an Ayleid Ruin in search of relics or possible information which might be inside. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe!

As a kid, I always picked Staff of Lightning, but as an adult on his 400th play through, I realized how busted it can be to go the Illusion route and taking a Staff of Paralysis. Great Video!

I cannot stand when characters in games accuse you of stupidity of of being evil when you had no other option. The count had no reason to wait so long to tell you what was going on. How were we supposed to know a well dressed steward was a necromancer? That quest gets even dumber when Ramulus apologies for not telling the count was a vampire. That wasn't the issue the issue was for no reason putting you in danger with false information. This game makes no sense.

I agree! It’s so odd that our character is just cool with being used like that to do the guilds dirty work 😂

If he was with the cult then being a vampire would have mattered a lot. Why everyone is mad on us I don't understand lol "hey I just got hired by the mages guild yesterday, they told me your liege borrowed a book named this". The steward wanted us to wait anyway he could just had made a packet that had any book in it, say it was it and we'd be on our clueless way. We'd be on our way, the council get the blame, and the steward probably survives

Imagine being an NPC who is written to have work 20 years to get to their position and see you become Master within a few in game days/weeks. Insert Joke: Veteran Guild Member: Am I a joke to you?
