The fact that it doesn’t sound like Twilight to get rid of magic, Opaline is contradicting herself in chapter 6 about when she became a fire Alicorn, and if Spike is there, where is Ember, Smolder, Garble, and Garble’s friends. They’re only a little older than Spike in G4. So they should have been there. So yes you’re right, they ignore G4, G4 is better.

I love this LOL It's so clearly a labor of love with the attention to detail especially in the animation and assets. The chemistry between the two are hilarious, I wish it was closer to this in the actual show. While watching this I couldn't help but think that the voice actor of Opaline could probably easily do The Monarchs voice from Venture Bros, the inflection is spot on.
