My god! My jaw is in the floor... All I know from him is his work on Silicon Valley. I loved his character on that show and I know nothing of anything he described that he's done in this interview. I love how Disney has two Mickey VAs… Brett’s voice sounds closer to Wayne’s but Chris’ sounds closer to Walt’s… subtle differences yet, it feels like somehow Disney has managed to honor both the modern and classic eras of Mickey by having both Brett and Chris voice the character at the same time for different projects.

The producers of Mickey Mouse (TV series) were looking for a voice closer to Walt Disney's portrayal of Mickey Mouse in order to match the vintage look of that series. The producers wanted a voice that sounded similar to the one used by Walt Disney for his portrayal of Mickey. Chris Diamantopoulos is the only actor to get 2 Emmy nominations for voicing Mickey Mouse for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance - Mickey Mouse (TV series): The Adorable Couple and Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program - Mickey Mouse (TV series).
