Love the part where Trott folded early and threw away a straight

Trott folded so many hands he could've seen the blind for and won. They play the cards so much and barely think about betting people out.

I love how Ross continuously calls bets when he has nothing. Meanwhile Smith is the polar opposite and will fold a mid-range pair against a 100 chip raise.

Has Trott never heard of a flush? Why is he only looking at the numbers? The amount times he's folded when he's had 2 cards of the same suit without even waiting for the river is infuriating
@Stroija4 жыл бұрын
Am I missing something or why are they constantly folding when no-one isn't even raising the pot?
@LexSchilperoord4 жыл бұрын
It's because they don't know how to play
@bonbonnybon4 жыл бұрын
Trott also keeps folding at the beginning with 2 cards of the same suit because the numbers aren't close.... I don't think they understand
@thorjelly4 жыл бұрын
@@bonbonnybon Um, that's actually fine. Suited doesn't automatically make a hand playable. 7-8 unsuited is statistically a better starting hand than 9-5 suited. Lots of unplayable suited starting hands.
@simmerke11114 жыл бұрын
@@thorjelly He folded suited cards with aces or kings in the past. Whatever he's doing, he has no clue.

@@simmerke1111 not saying he's a good player, they're terrible, and I am sure he folded hands he should have played, just saying suited cards doesn't automatically make a hand playable like the last comment implied.

I'm not experienced in poker and in fact these games are the first real time i've watched it be played. But I have to ask - what is the advantage to showing your winning hand or hiding it? don't the cards get shuffled after that and thus your current hand is only important during that round and irrelevant after?
@jamiethompson494 жыл бұрын
It lets your opponents read into your gameplay style. If whenever you win a hand you show it, and show that you had a great hand, that's a sign you're unwilling to bluff, and only play when you have something. On the other hand, if you constantly show you had nothing, your opponents will then feel more free to take chances against you. But then sometimes you want to show one or more cards to pretend you're fitting into one of the above play styles in order to dupe people later on. Hope these ramblings made sense!
