The finisher launch happens because the "Nightmare" rooms are stored waaaaay under the map. The ending of your finisher tries to set you back to your original position, so just launches you back up. You could also use Catapult Lift + sword (which gradually refunds height vs your original jumping position) to infinitely climb that way, before people figured out the finisher

God man I would LOVE an updated version of this for warlords holy shit. This breakdown of the min max stuff is so incredibly amazing. I’m not looking to speed run, but if I can halve the time in my dungeon runs, or greater, god it would feel so much better grinding for stuff

so i actually put a lot of hours into the warlords route, and im ngl the 2 plate ogre is very finnicky (i've gotten the setup like... twice? thrice? ever?) and the grapple melee strat for hefnd is awkward as hell. it's not off the table entirely, but I need to see what the damage difference looks like from then and now the current plan is making a video like this, on the subject of solo root of nightmares since it's objectively a nearly zero rng solo, which is extremely unique in destiny and afaik, entirely unique in destiny 2

I really enjoyed watching this whilst hearing voice-over about the actual techniques used, why/how-to.. very neat video... I finally managed to get the navigator to drop like 2wks or so ago after like forever of Ghosts of the Deep runs, so now, I need to work on throwing those grapple points up and working that DPS with worm-gods/synth's and 1-2 shotty!! Also, a nice overview on updated Mountaintop movement dynamics .. ..Can I have some extra scoops please sir! =)

Duality was my first ever solo (and flawless) dungeon. Got solo on my second attempt. Solo took 2 hours and 57 minutes. Solo Flawless was my very next attempt. Flawless took me 57 minutes. I used the same build for both. Strand Titan, Banner of War, Into the Fray, and Winterbite. Gameplay loop was just "stabby stabby." For everything. Add clear? No problem. Chalice Bearers? Like butter. Boss Damage? Indubitably.

I sat here and wondered why I was even watching this, but then again I learned how to do a start to Caiatl skip purely out of boredom and to see how fast I could do it (4:13 just starting the dungeon and OOBing) Maybe if I ever get Navigator ill play Titan again, but I imagine by then this wont be anywhere near as strong.
