Let me get this straight. Urruti's goal in the 118th minute of the Kansas City game was the latest in MLS Cup playoffs history, Valeri's goal at 27 seconds was the fastest ever in MLS Cup final, we had a couple of posts and one double post go our way, our 'keeper scored the game winning penalty just before an epic save that put the Timbers thru, we got goals from the doorstep (Borchers and Ridgewell), from distance (Asprilla), from directly in front (Adi) and from impossible angles (Melano). What a remarkable playoff run!! Everything worked!! What a remarkable run, period!! It's a moment I waited 40 years for, ever since a bunch of foreigners brought a game we really didn't understand to Portland in 1975. I was there then, and my eyes are tearing a little just writing this. Coach Porter is right - the magic WAS real!! In reality, it still is. I'm already ready for 2016. Let's do it again!! Bring it on!! RCTID!!

Ive been playing soccer my whole life, and have watched the Timbers since I could walk back in their USL days. Honestly, I still cant believe the run they made. No one thought they could do it, and the way they did it was even better. Defied the odds, surprised the doubters, and they had some incredible magic that they used. Gotta say, this was one of the best playoff runs in MLS and possible in sports because of the way they did it. Late goals, early goals, luck with the post, comebacks, stunning goals, it had it all. It was truly incredible. I didnt know if I would ever witness the Timbers winning an MLS cup, and this is one of the best few games I have ever seen in soccer. This team had something really special between them and in the locker room. Hope to see it again!

I still can't believe that Pk shootout. AND I WAS THERE!!! It was freaking amazing. No words describe my feelings that night, and I couldn't speak any words the day after from shouting so much. Gives an advantage to the regular season performance. It makes it so that teams who make the playoffs still have something to play for and the best teams in the season have some reward by having that advantage in the final. If you play well for 36 games and it's all forgotten in the playoffs does the title really mean anything?
