Every single time I hear Jon talk to Martin in both seasons 1 and 2 (and a bit of season 3) he always sounds like he wants to throw a chair at Martin. But then again Jon was a big douche in seasons 1 and 2

The thing that gets me everytime about this scene is the siren continuing to go off in the background in the beat before Jon says “I see”

It took listening to this episode twice and watching like ten animations of this scene for me realize that Martin probably thinks the tapes have a lo-fi charm to them because he's been listening to Jon's recordings and finds them soothing XD
