Hey Jory! This reminds me of the way Roy Scheider wore his Casio 103 AA-85 in the movie Blue Thunder. In the movie he plays a Vietnam veteran helicopter pilot flying for the LAPD. The way he wears his watch makes sense for someone who might struggle with heat rash in warm climates. He wears a sweat band on his wrist and then puts on his watch over that. Just a little detail I noticed.

Same. I wear my diver's watches on a nylon strap in the summer. I also switched my field watch over to a bonklip and that has been pretty sweet this summer. I'm able to quickly adjust the length in 3 seconds depending on how swollen my wrist is. The bonklip is super airy, too.

NATO just comes from the stock number G10 is the actual name of the Double pass nylon strap the actual issue straps are a greeny grey (believe they call it admiralty grey)

I have a couple of Barton neoprene watch straps. Very cool good looking two-tone design. Really like them, but if I wear them more than a day or two, it inflames my skin. I usually wear Blue Shark NATO straps. Really excellent straps.

You won't get that problem, the nylon is kind to the case back.

My favorite NATO straps are from Crown & Buckle. Bought a few Wrist Candy and thought they looked cool, but were flimsy and kind of inferior.

I use "Marine Nationale" style parachute elastic straps. They're infinitely adjustable, have no holes that can wear out, and the good ones are sadly way more expensive than NATO/Zulu type straps.

The issue I have with those is that you have to take the bars out for them, whereas with NATO you do not have to, you just change at will.

I buy on bracelet, then take the bracelet off and put a NATO on. NATOs are so cheap that you can buy loads and change the look of your watches at will.

Nah..hate NATO! Often too thin and I don't have wrists like a gorilla so all that dumb extra having to be tucked away looks messy to me. How anyone thinks that after-thought looks cool... Now perfection is...the ZULU! Thicker, shorter and more practical IMO. Unfortunately, too many sellers confuse NATO straps for ZULUs. "ZULUs thousands of em!"
