There is nothing gay about them.. But lately people are just obsessed by romance, being het or yaoi or yuri and even bestiality. I'm caring for the story, the developement of their personalities and they becoming friendlier. Shadow opening up to Sonic, becoming more talkative while remaining almost mute when he is with people he is uneasy around. And Sonic becoming more careful and more serious, more balanced I would say. They're learning from their flaws and their merits. Meanwhile Nine has gone full mad scientist mode. I didn't excepted to see him with a diabolic smile, since he doesn't sees himself as evil (unlike Eggman). The issue with Sonic X is lack of balance. Sonic prime deal with hundred of character. But, excpet for Sonic, Shadow and Nine, the other characters are treated as chunks and are simplified to show their different personalities without being overhelming. In Sonic X there are too many characters on screen, treated as single and Sonic, despite being the titular character, has not enough screentime. In a story you can't take care for more than 7 main characters or it will become a mess (see also dragon ball, same problem)

0:25 Oh my goodness this show had a huge budget for 3d animated TV kids show well it was being worked on by 4 companies (Wildbrain, Man Of Action, Netflix, and Sega) so I guess that makes sense.

The one thing in common that every reviewer I’ve seen is how they enjoyed Sonic and Shadow working together. They also just like seeing Shadow in general, and I get that. But I’ll be real, Nine is the reason I’m here. He is the most interesting character I think has ever appeared in this series. He’s not evil, he’s not good, but he IS a threat, especially when threatened. His end game is a perfect world, better than the one either he or Sonic came from. And when Sonic, the only friend he ever had, proved that he’s not really his friend, only wanting to replace Tails, well that was the last straw. He closed off his heart and set off with the shards, believing the only person he can trust is himself. The best line in the episode in my opinion was when Nine said to Sonic… Nine: “You’re on your own, now.” Shadow: “He’s not on his own!” Nine: “We’re *ALL* on our own.” I was like “Damn!” by Shadow’s response, and “DAAAAAAMN!” by Nine’s finisher. Shadow has a real contender for the Edgiest character award. And I couldn’t be happier for our fox friend showing off his gusto. But even though I will thoroughly enjoy seeing Nine as the antagonist, I still want him to have a happy ending and be friends with Sonic again. He’s a tragic character, but I don’t want his ending to be.

It's funny you bring up Sonic X as examples of Shadow beating Sonic because Sonic Team worked closely with the show's production to solidify their vision of the game characters. Ian Flynn seems to struggle to capture this vision since he himself stated that he gets a lot of feedback on what he should change to match what they want. Especially with Shadow.

Shadow as a character would NEVER want that neither would Sonic..Sonic literally canonically has feelings for Amy and it's quite obvious with Sonic's idle dialogue on kronos island.

I watched the trailer again just after I finished the ep and I noticed something, shadow ain't there in the end game scene thing where all the characters rush it to attack so I think shadow may have been stuck between the shatter space cuz he can't go in the other worlds or idk

No he is there. It's a small clip (he nods at sonic with the the rest of the gang behind them in frame). So he shows up possibly mid fight. Who knows. It's unpredictable at this point😅. I can't wait!😅

4:28 I can't believe we only have 2 good action Sonic shows (Sonic Prime & Sonic X) and 4 comedy Sonic shows(Underground, SatAM, and Adventures of Sonic) what is with Sega and focusing on comedy more than action?

The 3rd season is here I stayed up til 3 a.m on a school night to watch it and honestly I didn't like it that much. The whole season was just a huge long fight that was pretty dragged out all of this could have been solved if Sonic just sacrificed himself and as much as I didn't want Sonic to die the fight between Sonic and his friends vs Nine literally lasted for 4 GODDANN EPISODES and while I was watching I was like "at this point just kill Sonic already I want him to die just end this fight already!" But the 7th episode was pretty wholesome (no pun intended) and I'd say it was a pretty nice ending to the series.

It's been awhile since I've said anything. Or at least it feels that way. I've still not seen Sonic Prime (Don't have Netflix), but I'm always interested in hearing what you have to say. And yeah. A lot of furry artists use Twitter as their main platform for pornography. I don't know why, since there's no way such content doesn't run afoul of the site's TOS. But, you know? It's not at all surprising that you'd find them shipping Sonic and Shadow. Really, you got lucky that you didn't stumble across anything more explicit than that.
