For anybody wondering, I think these are called hiyoko manju. It is a treat made in Fukuoka since 1912. It's in the shape of a small chick, and comes in various flavors depending on the season. The filling is usually a sweet bean paste (white beans are typically used, but sometimes red [adzuki] beans are used), and the outside is similar to a dense sponge cake. Apologies if anything is wrong, it is hard to find information on these in English.
ALL WONDERFUL VIDEOS!! but it is a petty that they not have a little translation in english at least!! Anyway I can not stop to view all of them one by one!! Thank you!! Excelent idea and film production!! Thanks!!
