I just finished watching a D kingdom and empire. I am as historian not a religious person in this series move me. All the diversity of the actors were wonderful I hope they continue with another season. After I finished watching it I realize it was just one season which truly disappointed me. Please bring back another season with the same actors thank you

You guys should check out Vincenzo Labella's mini series from the mid eighties Anno Domini...this production pales in comparison. I don't recall ever reading about the apostles taking a stand alongside Caiphas and his cronies to prevent the Romans from placing their ensigns within the temple.

As theologian, archaeologist and tour guide in Israel i cant help to see so many inaccuracy, where to begging🤔 John and Mary Magdalene were not Africans, but rather middle eastern Semitic Jews. Peter, Matthew, Mary were nor white Europeans with blue eyes; the mountains around Jerusalem don't look that way, I can keep on and on... the ascension took place in the mt of olive and no in mountain out in the desert, oh Jesus was not a hippie European. I invite producers and cast directors to do a better research next time on the bible of the the land of the bible. The producer should get their money back from the so called "bible expert". Oh well you get what you paid for...

Although it is really impassioned and touching I can't help thinking all the time as Israel Superguide has said, Mary Magdalene, John were Semitic - Jewish people! Jesus too somehow though dark haired and olive skinned misses the Jewishness. Yes, Mary too - it is distracting and disappointing to see so many races instead of the Judeans....I am sure the film will nonetheless touch a lot of people and even change lives
