This is truly a custom rifle in every aspect. Most builders claiming to produce custom rifles are actually assembling rifles out of pre-produced parts. This is amazing to see in a time lapse video. Well done....and kind regards.

Every time I see a “custom build” AR I roll my eyes so hard I have to call in sick for 3 days. We get it you ordered an upper and lower from different makers, wow

This video makes me incredibly happy & yet sad at the same time...I'm saddened by the fact that I probably will never own such a beautiful piece of art. But it makes me very happy to watch such a master riflesmith working his trade. Much respect from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼

Absolutely excellent work. As a gunsmith myself I really appreciate the quality of the work. Work like this is sadly not found commonly today anymore. Very well done!

That is not a rifle. That is a piece of art. If it shoots as excellent as it looks no game is safe on the planet

Outstanding craftsmanship. Doing integral sights on a barrel isn’t for the faint of heart and hurry I want it yesterday crowd. Makes me happy to see this level of work today. Also I’m not really a fan of background music but you pulled that off superbly as well. All in all an excellent video and incredible rifle.

So many people see firearms as a tool of destruction and there is a lot of truth to this, but many of them are works of art. Ever since the first caveman picked up a rock or a stick and threw it in defense or to obtain food, the firearm was a foregone conclusion. The fact that we advanced the craft to the extent we have deserves recognition.

The Rws data 2350 fps takes it up some good notches. 400 Swift Aframe is perhaps best bullet for it in the US to be made there. And Woodleigh 450 grain on top. But 320 hard cast lead or 400 is a cheap practice way also.

The finished rifle looked great, an old family relative hunted in Africa many many years ago using a .404 Jeffery using German ammo which put on par with the .416 Rigby.

To Martin Reinhold - Everyone has their own taste & Preferences- To each his or her own- live and let live - Some would prefer all stainless & plastic- Many like color casehardening, especially those of us, who have worked in this trade,and know the skill that goes into it - When YOU Order YOUR Custom rifle, you are free to get it in any style and flavor you prefer- You're free to dislike and criticize the rifle presented in the video --- Have a nice day -

Absolutely stunning! I truly love the old British calibers ^~^ Exceptional execution on the front scope mount out of the barrel shank. Though I must wonder if there is any chance of upset due to the two mated surfaces as opposed to milling both out of the receiver itself being a monothetic block??? o~0

Any tips on case color hardening or is that a secret, for some reason all you guys who do it well won't divulge how to get the old school colors, kinda like when you work somewhere or a recipe/ I HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY! I'm not telling anyone how to do it let them learn by trial and error like I did, that doesn't help, us who just want to restore a few guns, nobody's going to steal your work, top notch work by the way, bravo bravo 👏
@mnrcustomllc8253 Жыл бұрын
Hey Eric, unfortunately I'm not the one holding the secrets on that. I had Turnbull color case harden the parts. Thanks!
