actually, u can give some heat to the boning to curve it, u can use candle n put the boning on top of the fire to shape it, a lighter also work, but dont burn the boning, enough when u can shape it😁😁

This is so beautiful! Subscribed ❤ By the way, when you mean they are all separate pieces, how did you attach the structured piece to the base dress?
@studiohennis2 ай бұрын
Thank you! 🤩 So the structured piece is bagged out all around and basically it’s like a vest you put on on top of the dress and fastened on the side with a snap. ( for a real size possibly more snaps would be needed.)

How do you take out those and draft and sew?
@studiohennis2 ай бұрын
Hi! Not sure which part you mean 🙃. I made the initial draping in calico then drafted the pattern from that.
@xypsd6378Ай бұрын
@@studiohennisI think they meant that after draping the fabric onto the mannequin, how do you take the drape off of the mannequin and sew it?

You're the best! Honestly all the best draping tutorials aren't in English so I'm very happy you give us an opportunity to learn. ❤ May I request a tutorial please? There's a gown by Krikor Jabotian Chapter X number 4. The draping twists and pleats in different areas but also has a light, flowy, bagginess to it. Please please please break this design down one day 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@studiohennis2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! ❤️ Yes I can incorporate those designs elements from Krikor Jabotian’s design in one of my next videos. Thank you for the suggestion 🙃
