They were so far ahead of their time Sensible Software. Still my favourite games company in 2024. There is not anything like that coming out now. It's just a different era now. I have a nice pc but it's rare that I want to play games apart from GTA (and Gran Turismo) which would have definitely been something Sensible would have done with 'Sex and Drugs and Rock'n'roll' before that got shelved for being too anti-establishment or some crap. Cheers! We all shared a common goal, to do our best and make the stuff we worked on the best we could. Jon has often said in interviews that the Amiga years were the golden years for Sensible, and I have to agree, the small team that we were just nailed it! I'm incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to experience the whole process, and today I have some cherished memories of those days.

That was an excellent interview and Stoo comes across as a top bloke too. SWOS is still in my top ten of games of all time, a sank a huge amount of hours into that back in the day!

I love these stories from games devs from the 90s - like rock bands. it was always my dream to make games but in reality I was old enough to play them but not make em and once i was old enough to make em id stopped playing them and they went 3d whereas I much prefer 2d games. I can imagine these devs are always trying to get that 90s magic back, I think I would if it was me....

Thank you. I would have loved to have worked on CF2 but alas I was working on Sensible Golf and the PS1 game Have A Nice Day, otherwise I would have jumped at it. All my CF1 art was re-used in part but the game went to La La Land in my opinion and lost something in the process.

I remember me and my friends always used to play Kick Off 1 and 2 then one day we got to try Sensible Soccer ..And didn't enjoy it much. Mostly because it was slower than the Kick Off games. Eventually it did click and it's to this day my #1 soccer game! The game controls perfectly and it only needs one button!
