I actually like the alu plates, because they have a little more give than brass and also they don’t oxidize and get yucky like brass, which is especially important for soldered builds that you can’t clean quickly...
@geordieny4 жыл бұрын
Great vid. When you solder it looks like you are feeding it by pushing the solder in to the tip of your iron. Using the iron to get the flow going is fine, but I recommend trying to feed the hole itself after it starts flowing. This way you get a better contact for the finished solder point. That way you end up with the cone at each point, rather than the bubbles you see. But again, great vid. Love the look of the case. Might pick it up myself lol

That colour scheme matches perfectly, even the colour of the switches match the keycaps, lol! Also I was thinking of getting the Practice 65 V2 from Cannon Keys so I could get a feel for soldering and sort of introduce myself to the custom keyboard 'rabbit hole'. I was also thinking this could be my semi endgame so later when I have the time and *cough* budget I could maybe get the savage 65. So this keyboard could be a gateway to this. Currently I'm running a prebuilt Corsair K63 and I'm currently debating whether I still should get it or not. Anyways, thanks Hamaji Neo your one of my favourite youtubers in the custom keyboard scene!
